It all started with a setup, courtesy of Michael’s sister and brother-in-law. What was supposed to be a standard double date turned into a 12-hour adventure... and from that day on, we never looked back.

Over the years, our lives have blended as seamlessly as our two cultures. Alejandra found herself deeply immersed in the world of sports—learning football, cheering through every season, taking up golf, and serving as a total good-luck charm. Michael has taken her to seven home games, and the home team is officially undefeated! Meanwhile, Michael jumped headfirst into Latino culture, embracing the music, dancing his way through concerts, and thriving at lively family gatherings playing briscas (Spanish cards) and dominoes with la abuela (who playfully calls him el otro nieto). Most impressively, he successfully survived two and a half years of OB/GYN residency alongside Alejandra. Head over to our Photos section for the proof!
